I will be performing for a second reception at the Science Fiction & Fantasy Art Exhibit at Periscope Gallery in Emeryville. The reception goes from 6-9 p.m. on May 14th. I’ll be playing three half-hour sets, starting at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00.
I’m really looking forward to this show…I’ll have a new sound system, and I’ll be performing live for the first time several songs from my new CD, Rise Time. Naturally, I will be playing the Moog Guitar with my laptop looper. I’ve been spending a lot of time preparing for this show and I think it’s going to be great!

I was just added to the roster for the Science Fiction & Fantasy Art Exhibit at Periscope Gallery in Emeryville. The reception goes from 6-9 p.m. on April 28th, and I’ll be playing off and on all evening.
I may need to work on a cover or two just for this event!

…about working more with the Roland MKS-80. I am so glad I got it with the MPG-80 programmer. There really is just one function per button. I’ve been working on duplicating the bass sound on some of Kanye West’s songs on “808 and Heartbreak”. I like it when the bass also serves as a bass drum. Because of the one slider per function, taking a quick picture of the programmer is not a bad option for backing up a patch. Here’s the current state of my Kanye bass patch:

the MPG-80 has a lot of sliders!

This is a test of the Emergency Psychedelic System. If this were a real emergency, you would be most thankful to remain in your current psychedelic state, listening to music on this site!
